What are your tubs made from?Updated a year ago

Our tubs are made from rPET (recycled polyethylene terephtalate), made from approximately 80% recycled material (bottle cut) and 20% new material. rPET comes from plastic that has already been used for packaging, such as plastic bottles. This plastic is sorted, cleaned and transformed which makes it even more environmentally friendly than the material used for our previous tubs.  

As our tubs are made from recycled bottles which saves yards and yards of landfill. The tubs are accepted by the majority of recycling plants.

These are as environmentally friendly as possible and after use the rPET plastic is 100% recyclable.   

The tubs are also BPA free. BPA stands for Bisphenol A, this is an industrial chemical that is used to make certain plastics. Research has shown that the use of BPA in plastic food containers can in some cases cause the BPA to seep into the food/beverage, causing increased health concerns
